Recently Google launched an amazing initiative and interactive tool for any Art Lover.
Now you can, "Explore museums from around the world, discover and view hundreds of artworks at incredible zoom levels, and even create and share your own collection of masterpieces."
I was truely lost in awe after spending over an hour exploring the Palace of Versailles, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, the London National Gallery and several other world renouned museums and galleries.
You can even throw on some goggles and switch to 3D Mode.
Looking forward to seeing this develop in the future.
Check it out at www.googleartproject.com.

Wanna Help?
We work hard to collectively protect, promote, and share the love for art in North Park and throughout greater San Diego.
There are many ways for you to support our cause and show your passion for the arts.
Visit North Park - With the monthly Ray at Night Artwalk, the annual North Park Festival of the Arts, or the many local weekly events on our calendar page, there's always something happening in North Park.
Buy Some Art - Support your local artists where it counts and buy something.
Volunteer - We're an all-volunteer based non profit 501(c)3 org and welcome any help.
Attend a Meeting -
Our monthly meetings are open to anyone where we share ideas, talk art, and ask what we as a collective can do when we combine our effort to better ourselves and our community.
Partner with NPA - Share our vision? Want to make San Diego a nationally recognized prominent art scene? We welcome partnerships with other groups, organizations, institutions, websites, etc. There's strength in numbers. Let's talk...
Sponsor Us - Share your corporate message with our diverse audience comprised of Artists, Art Lovers, Curators, Collectors, Designers, Photographers, City Locals, Activists, Hipsters, Foodies, Musicians, Environmentalists, Stylists, DJ's, Wine Tasters, and
Beer Aficionados. Advertising opportunities are available in the next Guidebook (vol. 2), on our website,
or in this email newsletter. Ask us how.
Make a
Donation - Our vision and enthusiasm for what we can
achieve collectively is often larger than our non profit budget allows us to accomplish.
Support NPA by making a tax deductible donation via PayPal, or download our donation form.
|
The $2 Difference - We understand that not everyone may have extra free time to get involved, or disposable income in our struggling economy, but every little bit of help can make a huge difference.
